GF Café

We had the best experience at the GF cafe today for lunch. Service was fautless and we were really taken care of. I have coeliac disease and it's rare to feel so looked after and to know everything is safe. Plus the food was perfect. I had a pesto chicken panini with mozzarella and it was delicious. My first panini in 3 years I think! My son, who isn't gluten free, had the chicken pesto pasta. His first time with pesto chicken and he loved it. I also took something takeaway for later - one of the best cakes I have had since diagnosis! I think it was honey and walnut. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Edinburgh. A real treat!

Very nice place with great food and very friendly staff. My friend is gluten intolerant, and I am lactose intolerant. For us, it’s incredibly nice to find places where we can order without worries and have plenty of options. Very kind staff member, with whom we had a little chat, and who gave me free (!) pastries to take with me when there weren’t many options for me without milk.

Very cute little bakery, worth the trip out to visit if you’re gluten free. Very affordable but kind of small portions if you’re really hungry.Waiter was very kind and attentive.

Lovely cafe, lovely food, all fresh made gluten free food! The gluten free biscuits and cakes were to die for! We both had full English breakfast and it was so good!The smoothies were also delicious and Dairy-Free.The table next to us ordered the pasta salad and the portion was very large and looked delicious!

A great place in Edinburgh for your breakfast. The food is really great and also 100% gluten-free. It is a small but cozy restaurant and the host is very friendly. Next time I'm in Edinburgh, I already know my regular breakfast place

To think this cafe is fully GF is amazing. The quality of the food is superb. Fresh ingredients, cooked to order, taste fantastic. The two gents who looked after us were both fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Came here twice during our few days in Edinburgh. Our first visit the man behind the counter was so friendly and helpful it really brightened our day. The gluten free bread rolls were lovely and soft.Second time they were very helpful with us customising a veggie breakfast and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend for the gluten free food and for the service! Great value for money

When I found GF Cafe I was so so happy, but when I found out their entire menu was COMPLETELY gf, I was buzzing! They have such a great menu, from full Scottish breakfast, to hot filled rolls and from paninis, pastas to homemade cakes. Honestly I could not recommend gf cafe enough. The man who served us was lovely and very helpful which we valued. The cafe itself is small and cosy, perfect for a quiet lunch spot. I would 100% recommended GF Cafe on your next visit to Edinburgh!
